"Violet, oh how I remember the day we got the phone call. You had been found running down the road. We posted on Facebook for someone to find you and Noone ever said anything other than they hope you find your home. That was late 2015. We took you to the vet no chip or tattoo. Vet said you was between 2 and 4 years old. You needed us and God knew we needed you. You went from a stray to a service dog. The service you gave was more than we ever expected. You held a veterans heart keeping many nightmares away( your dad). You played with many babies and kids. You roll with support went onto the kids. You protected the children and comforted them. They will never forget you. You guarded the car, the house, and even the trash. You was the leader of the pack. You trainded and loved every animal we brought in. You was me, we together was the mommas taking care of everyone's needs. Pebbles misses you dearly. As do the younger dogs and cats. Thank you Violet for your services. Thank you for your unconditional love. Thank you for being my best friend and if you can. tell everyone in Heaven hello, Expecially Momma Wanda. until we see each other again. Good bye for now." - Ronnie White "I’m gonna miss you violet, you were so close with the other dogs, a mother and companion to the dogs and family, I’m gonna miss waking up hearing you snore outside in the hallway, climbing in the bed with us and taking up the whole thing, you were loved so much by everyone, until we meet again." - Nick Williams "My Dear Violet, I remember the very day I walked through my mommas doors and seen you at the stairs. I remember thinking, “OMG I get to have a new best friend!” Not too long after that you became my little selfie buddy. The first picture below is the very first selfie you and I have ever taken together. Oh my how loving and fun you were. Shane (your daddy) would teach me about all your tricks and I can’t deny that I was honestly impressed on how well trained and behaved you were. That’s when I found out you weren’t just a well mannered and loving dog, you were my dad’s service dog! To me it was like WOW! EVEN COOLER! I’m miss the long nights with you cuddling at my feet and taking up the whole bed. I miss the early morning runs that you, Ivy (your sister), and I used to do every morning. The constant photo shoots. We pretty much claimed you as ours (us girls) although you were Shane’s baby. Down below, is the last selfie I got to take with you before you got sick. I hope you are chasing all the squirrels and eating all the steaks you can get up their baby girl. I was no where prepared for the heartbreak that came with losing my best friend. You will forever be remembered as the best dog we have ever had. You saved your family, protected us and gave us more than you’ll ever know! You are truly loved and missed my girl! Watch over our babies for us and give your little pups a big hello from their auntie! I’m not going to say goodbye because I know you’ll always be here with me in my heart. I remember the first thing I thought when I saw you “Oh no does she bite she’s pretty big” little did I know you were going to be a best friend. The nights the kids would argue about who you got to sleep with that night and I would always cry if it wasn’t me because you would always scare way my closet monsters. You would always keep me warm at night oh and the fun we had with you, We dyed your hair with Easter egg dye, An when we painted your nails hot pink.You were always there watching making sure nobody got your family. I really hope you lived the life you dreamed about Violet. Your are so loved and very very missed." - Maryanne "Violet always kept to herself… unless you were eating and then you could look up and somewhere off ina corner there she is, hawking you down waitin for a gesture for her to come up to your feet and have a bite. She was a good dog and a happy one… she would scratch any itch she had on the threshold of Shane’s door or the wall beside it. No matter how many times she was told to stop and got in trouble she would be right back in 30 mins. You’ll always be remembered and loved." - Logan
